What this site is

LKaizeN.com.ar is an educational site about industrial maintenance and maintenance management. It brings together explanations, calculators and free Excel spreadsheets, with the source of every concept in view.

For information only, without warranty

• The content is informational and educational. It does not replace professional judgement, the manufacturer's manuals, current regulations or each plant's safety procedures.
• The calculators and spreadsheets are provided "as is", with no guarantee that they are free of errors or fit for a particular purpose. Whoever uses them is responsible for checking the data they enter, the results and the decisions they make with them.
• The thresholds, scales and cut-offs marked as "this site's criterion" are indicative references: each plant should define its own.
• Examples with numbers are made up unless stated otherwise. Real cases are attributed to the cited source.

Sources and intellectual property

• Each concept says which book, guide, thesis or paper it comes from. The texts on the site are our own explanations and paraphrases: they do not reproduce other people's works. Copyrighted books are cited without being copied or linked.
• External links lead to institutional repositories and third-party sites. We do not control their content or availability, and they may change or stop working.
• The cited works belong to their authors and publishers. The names of companies, brands and organizations mentioned belong to their owners and are used only to identify them: this site is not affiliated with them.
• The Excel spreadsheets are free to use: you may use them, adapt them and share them. The texts and the design of the site belong to its owner; to reproduce them in full, ask for permission.
