How it works
You write the effect (the problem) and enter hypotheses in the six classic 6M categories: Machine, Material, Method, Manpower, Measurement and Environment. Each hypothesis is a possible cause, not a confirmed one: the tool helps you go systematically through every area before settling on the first idea that "sounds logical". Nothing is discarded or debated while entering them.
Afterwards you prioritize which ones to investigate (for example with a Pareto chart, if there is frequency data) and confirm them with data. What you enter is saved in your browser.
