How it works

You write your objective and tick, using your own judgement, which of the five criteria it meets: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound. The tool counts how many you ticked: with all five, the objective is well built; with fewer, it tells you to review the ones that are missing.

It is a manual check: it does not analyze the text you write. Its value lies in forcing you to answer each question, for example whether the objective has a number that says when it has been met and a concrete deadline.
